Malmö Aviation launches a new and innovative service that makes travel easier; use your mobile phone to manage your flights. With Malmö Aviation’s mobile service, passengers can book, change and cancel flights, as well as check in by mobile phone. With the launch of a mobile phone booking application, Malmö Aviation is expanding its range of smart services that save time and make travel easier for customers of the airline. All passengers need is a mobile phone to use the new service and manage their domestic flights themselves. Once a hassle, changing a flight can now be done simply by pushing a few buttons. “Now our passengers can change flights quickly and easily no matter where they are,” says Maud Ekman, Business Development Manager at Malmö Aviation. “Most people have their phones with them when they travel. It’s very convenient to have flight information stored in the phone, so you can easily find flight times and check availability,” continues Ekman. “We are incredibly proud to be the first airline in Sweden to offer passengers the option to manage their Malmö Aviation flights by mobile phone,” concludes Ekman. The service was developed in partnership with Braathens IT Solutions, a software development company within Braathens Aviation that develops innovative IT solutions for the travel industry.
